An OG of the NYC skate scene, Harold Hunter helped define East Coast street skateboarding with effortless style, authenticity, and unmatched energy. Rising from New York’s Lower East Side, Harold became a cultural icon whose influence reached far beyond skateboarding.

Known worldwide after appearing as himself in the 1995 film Kids, Harold later rode professionally for Zoo York and became a symbol of positivity, representation, and community within skate culture.

Though his life was cut short at age 31, his impact continues through the Harold Hunter Foundation, empowering underserved youth through skateboarding and opportunity.
